Trumpinocchio

Sunshine this Monday morning on California’s north coast, with decent weather due for the next couple of days — a big rainstorm slated for mid-week.
Enviro story for the shoreline is the high ocean tides — according to the NWS, a ‘perigean spring tide‘ will be on tap this week, so watch it.

Non-enviro is the tide of lies from the T-Rump. Journalism icon Carl Bernstein yesterday on the situation: ‘“No president, including Richard Nixon, has been so ignorant of fact and disdains fact in the way this President-elect does…And it has something to do with the growing sense of authoritarianism he and his presidency are projecting…The danger of it is obvious and he’s trying to make the conduct of the press the issue, not his own conduct.”

A twilight-zone of reality…

Bernstein continued with the bottom-line to the lying shit:

“He doesn’t go to a fact-based argument. He goes to an emotional argument,” he said.
“What we have seen throughout the campaign is pathological disdain for the truth, a kind of lie, and ease with lying, that we have not seen before.”

T-Rump wallows in it — the look on his face yesterday during that softball interview on Fox News, the sense of pure-truth plasted on his lying face (Time): ‘“I think the Democrats are putting it out because they suffered one of the greatest defeats in the history of politics in this country. And, frankly, I think they’re putting it out. It’s ridiculous.”

Asshole bullshit, ‘suffered one of the greatest defeats in the history of politics in this country,’ near-about exact opposite. Weird, too, majority being ruled by the minority.

Non-journalism, real-life view of T-Rump from United Steelworkers 1999 President Chuck Jones: ‘“But he got up there,” Jones said, “and, for whatever reason, lied his ass off.”
