Did T-Rump Learn ‘A Pretty Big Lesson’ From Impeachment?

December 20, 2020

As we edge closer to either the end or up to but not close to a nasty precipice, there’s now acknowledgment that the T-Rump is a wackadoodle wackjob that’s a way-danger to the country — the glaring obvious crazy with violent undertones has become so evident, the MSM takes note.

In a top-of-the-page story, Maeve Reston at CNN this morning explores the reality of the worthless piece of shit that is the T-Rump:

In the six weeks since President-elect Joe Biden won the White House, President Donald Trump has proved again and again that he has little concern for anyone other than himself, scheming and spreading falsehoods as he seeks to overturn the election while seeming unmoved by the grim climb in coronavirus cases that has led to more than 316,000 deaths in the United States while countless Americans struggle to keep food on the table.

Just when it seemed like the President couldn’t sink any lower in his quest to subvert the November election results, his mere entertainment of invoking martial law to negate Biden’s victory underscores how laser-focused he still is on his own interests at a time when the nation is mired in crisis.

The idea came up during an extraordinary Oval Office meeting Friday between Trump, members of his team and two of his most discredited outside advisers — lawyer Sidney Powell, a fount of baseless voter fraud theories, and former national security adviser Michael Flynn, whom Trump recently pardoned and who first floated the martial law idea earlier last week.
The impromptu gathering devolved into a shouting match between his advisers — some of whom were forcefully resisting Powell and Flynn’s outrageous suggestions — but it nevertheless showed how Trump continues to surround himself with sycophants, no matter how crazy their theories are as long as they will benefit him.

Though Trump is fighting hard to stay in the White House, he has shown little interest in doing the actual work required of the commander-in-chief.
He has done nothing to try to curb the spread of Covid-19 — tweeting Saturday that “we don’t want to have lockdowns. The cure cannot be worse than the problem itself” — and he has not interceded to try to force bickering members of Congress to strike a deal on an emergency stimulus package that would alleviate some of the nation’s financial suffering as some 12 million Americans face the loss of their jobless benefits on December 26.

Read the whole piece, it’s as if the progressive blogosphere has oozed out onto the sunshine of normal.
Even more so, also this morning at CNN, John Harwood examines how T-Rump’s impeachment trial forshadowed the horrifying  year ahead — especially with Adam Schiff’s acute warning:

“You know you can’t trust this President to do what’s right for this country,” Schiff told senators.
“You can trust he will do what’s right for Donald Trump. He’ll do it now, he’s done it before, he’ll do it for the next several months.”

“He’ll do it in the election if he’s allowed to,” Schiff concluded.
“This is why if you find him guilty, you must find that he should be removed…Because right matters, and the truth matters. Otherwise, we are lost.”

Yet the shit-storm of idiocy didn’t fall far from the tree: ‘Sen. Susan Collins of Maine rationalized her decision by saying the episode taught Trump “a pretty big lesson.” This past year has, in fact, taught some pretty big lessons. None was the lesson Collins suggested.
Despite the monsterous move, Collins was relected to a fifth term last month.

Sunday morning coming way, way down…

Wishing, Lord, that I was stoned…

This is my favorite of the T-Rump mugs, though, ‘favorite‘ does not mean in any form or fashion, as in, ‘my favorite movie,’ or ‘my favorite song.’
It’s more of an anti-appreciation/like.

And aptly titled, ‘Basic Shapes,‘ by caricaturist/illustrator Chong Jit Leong (found here), and displays the elemental form of a purloined sociopath — a bloated profile of flatulent bile and arrogant ignorance.
