Tucker The FlimFlam Fucker: People Wearing A Mask Outside ‘Is Making Me Uncomfortable’

April 27, 2021

Where does the asshole stop? Tucker Carlson is not only an unmitigated liar, but anti-societal in his rantigs about masks and the fever dream of freedoms. Indeed the horrors of irony are so lost on the right-handed nutjobs creating chaos in a dangerous environment.
Despite the deaths of 572,850 Americans in just a bit more than a year due to COVID (3,124,700 worldwide) and India experiencing a science-fiction nightmare (maybe a billion cases), Carlson and the rest of his ill-fated crowd apparently don’t give a fat-rat’s ass. We can science-the-shit out of this for just so long and to only a certain extent, then it’s up to everyone to follow as closely to whatever little that science produces and what works.
Masks work, and although the CDC announced this morningfully vaccinated‘ people can go maskless outside and ‘at small outdoor gatherings, or when dining outside with friends from multiple households,’ those NOT fully vaccinated need to continue to wear those masks — Duh!
Science — word.

A glitch in the operation of a functioning US is the right-wing, conservative assholes, from not only in combating the COVID-19 pandemic, but also in gun control, police reform, infrastructure upgrades, eliminating hunger and homelessness, and so forth and so on, the list is near-endless. The GQP is not here to govern or aid fellow Americans, but to literally fuck-up everything.

And that question of where does the asshole Carlson stop? Maybe not until he reaches bottom, whatever/wherever that means:

The scenario via The Wrap last night:

Apparently, Tucker Carlson thinks parents should be arrested for child abuse if they make their kids wear a mask to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

That uh, observation came during Tucker’s latest monologue at the top of Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Monday.
It began with him railing against politicians requiring their constituents to wear masks — which, Tucker argued, “99% of us would have survived anyway.” (Cold comfort for the 570,000 people who didn’t, of course.)

Tucker then zeroed in on kids by ranting against parents who make their children wear masks. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends all children age 2 and over wear masks to prevent the spread of COVID and recently said that kids still should wear masks in public spaces, especially if they attend summer camps this year.

“As for forcing children to wear masks outside, that should be illegal,” Tucker said.
“Your response when you see children wearing masks while they play should be no different to seeing someone beat a kid in Walmart. Call the police. Contact Child Protective Services. Keep calling until someone arrives.”

While kids are less likely to get and spread the coronavirus than adults, over 3.6 million of them have tested positive for it since the pandemic began — at least 297 of those cases were fatal. According to Johns Hopkins, over 572,000 Americans have died from the virus since its outbreak.

What you’re looking at is abuse, it’s child abuse and you are morally obligated to attempt to prevent it,” Tucker said about kids in masks.
“If it’s your own children being abused, then act accordingly.”

Tucker also said during Monday’s Fox show that masks are signs of “shame and submission,” and said it used to be that “only Klansmen and robbers wore masks.”
He also advocated that adults confront each other outside if someone is wearing a mask in open air.
“The next time you see someone in a mask on the sidewalk or on the bike path, do not hesitate. Ask politely but firmly, ‘would you please take off your mask; science shows there is no reason for you to be wearing it? Your mask is making me uncomfortable.”

Tucker also compared masks to “Kim Il-sung pins in Pyongyang — we wear them because we have to. The only people who wear masks voluntarily outside are zealots and neurotics.”
Tucker took the analogy one step further, saying that “wearing a mask outside is like watching a grown man expose himself in public — it’s grotesque, put it away.”

Pure, nasty-cruel violent:

Horrible to see, or even read about.

Margaret Sullivan, media columnist at The Washington Post, this morning took on Tucker-the-Fucker and also found he will stop only as bottom feeding whenever/wherever — a couple of snips:

“It’s part of a full-on, aggressive assault against science and scientists” on Fox News and other right-wing media outlets, said Peter Hotez, author of “Preventing the Next Pandemic” and dean of Baylor College’s School of Tropical Medicine.
He has made a point of being interviewed by those outlets when asked — but the invitations from Newsmax and Fox have tailed off in recent weeks, and host Laura Ingraham went after him by name recently.

There are mixed messages, though. Fox News has aired public service announcements promoting preventive behavior, including mask-wearing, while its stars dish out the opposite advice.

Hotez told me that Carlson’s mask screed on Monday fits right in with the “anti-vaccine tirades and rants” he’s increasingly seeing on Fox.
There’s clear proof of the dangers in several recent polls, he said, that show significant percentages of people, particularly the Republicans who are Fox’s core audience, will refuse vaccines.

If the past is any indication, it’s a lost cause to hope that Fox will rein in Carlson.
He’s doing exactly what the Murdoch ownership wants: Juicing ratings, and giving Fox a reason for existing in the post-Trump era.

These days, the only question is how low he’ll go.

And that answer is shitty.
Tucker, though, has been a fucker for a long time, and catches responsible shit from The View this morning:

So…
