‘From the Desk of … (Delete)’ — T-Rump Blog Bust!

June 2, 2021

Inevitable as a psychopathic idiot have a grenade – a bad thing is about to happen. One thing about all the nasty, dangerous shit Republicans are pulling in their nefarious schemes are for the most-part out in the open, despite the bullcrap blather to the contrary. A revealing result is they’re imbeciles, though, nothing new“The truth is, these are not very bright guys…” and it comes from the top down.

As personified by the T-Rump and melting down to the “basket of deplorables” MAGA hatters who in their collective idiocy have pushed QAnon into religion-like status — believers in total lunacy. Due to the physical fact they’re lunatics.

Effectively, the crazy of the T-Rump is the horror in his belief he’s actually way-intelligent, smart even. Twisted with maybe dozens of pathologies, he considers himself a genius. Shit is deep here.
Martie Sirois has the best take on T-Rump’s brain working with the piece, “Donald Trump Is The Dunning-Kruger Effect Personified,” at Medium in Novmber 2018 — most-readily attaching him to someone who with little intelligence believes they’re super smart, and in course is ignorant of their own ignorance.
Go read that whole post, really, really right one. However, this Sirois’ best take: ‘Where I’m having trouble is finding evidence that proves Trump’s skull contains anything beyond an airless void. A black hole. In total, he appears the physical embodiment of a wall of stupidity, cloaked in a poorly designed human suit.

Which in turn leads to this announcement today:

In the same scenario in which the T-Rump only hires ‘the very best people.” in reality, they’re idiots. This so-called blog sucked from the beginning.
Details of its demise via CNBC this morning:

Former President Donald Trump’s blog — a webpage where he shared statements after larger social media companies banned him from their platforms — has been permanently shut down, his spokesman said Wednesday.

The page “From the Desk of Donald J. Trump” has been scrubbed from Trump’s website after going live less than a month earlier.

It “will not be returning,” his senior aide Jason Miller told CNBC.

“It was just auxiliary to the broader efforts we have and are working on,” Miller said via email.

He declined to provide additional details about those efforts.

“Hoping to have more information on the broader efforts soon, but I do not have a precise awareness of timing,” Miller said.

But asked online later Wednesday whether the move was a “precursor” to the former president joining “another social media platform,” Miller replied: “Yes, actually, it is. Stay tuned!”

T-Rump and his lackeys are failures. Late last month, The Washington Post took a look at T-Rump’s attempt at creating a pipeline to his deplorables:

Online talk about him has plunged to a five-year low. He’s banned or ignored on pretty much every major social media venue.
In the last week, Trump’s website — including his new blog, fundraising page and online storefront — attracted fewer estimated visitors than the pet-adoption service Petfinder and the recipe site Delish.

Trump’s biggest attempt yet to recapture America’s attention has severely underwhelmed the Internet — and even his own advisers. His “From the Desk of Donald Trump” blog, which he and his team have promoted heavily in TV interviews and social media posts, has in the last week been shared to Facebook on average fewer than 2,000 times a day — a staggering drop from last year, when his Facebook page fielded tens of millions of comments, shares and other interactions every week, according to data from the social media analytics firm BuzzSumo and the Facebook-owned content-tracking tool CrowdTangle.

To win back the spotlight, his team is working on a project they’re calling “Trump Media Group,” which would launch this summer and could include a new social media platform of Trump’s own. Advisers say Trump talks about the project regularly and gets updates from the team building it, though a final product is not ready.
Other advisers say he could still join another platform if he received enough money from the platform and could control the terms. He is expected to hold a spate of rallies this summer to secure media attention as well, advisers say.

“He’s whistling in the wind,” said Megan Squire, a computer science professor at Elon University who studies right-wing online organizing and reviewed data about Trump’s audience.
“People just aren’t following him to his little desk platform, and we can see that in the numbers. The difference is ridiculous. He doesn’t have that same ability anymore to constantly put his content in people’s faces the way he did before.”

T-Rump’s power is in his ‘deplorables’ — a large chunk of American bottom-feeders who are nasty, racist and prone to violence — and the way-vast-majority of the Republican party taking-up his life of no shame and no conscience.
As I’ve noted many times before, this is a shitty, dangerous time for America.
