Early Thursday here on California’s north coast with the weekend in absolute-full view now.
Seems the old blog site has some problems — my IT guy had to move some ether-shit around and transferred Compatible Creatures to ‘a new host,’ which sounds much-like some science-fiction-horror movie involving weird, flat worms.
Or something.

In this referenced transfer, some strange shit has happened — don’t know what — and alien letters, words and symbols just appear at random through the posts.
Anyway, we’re gonna be under repairs for awhile, and hope the situation shifts back to DC again.
Anyway, to sooth the savage mind-melt, here’s Miss Emily Dickinson to explain it all:
I heard a Fly buzz – when I died –
The Stillness in the Room
Was like the Stillness in the Air –
Between the Heaves of Storm –The Eyes around – had wrung them dry –
And Breaths were gathering firm
For the last Onset – when the King
Be witnessed – in the Room –I willed my Keepsakes – Signed away
What portion of me be
Assignable – and then it was
There interposed a Fly –With Blue – uncertain – stumbling Buzz –
Between the light – and me –
And then the Windows failed – and then
I could not see to see –
Hang in there boys and girls — tomorrow is Friday!
