Here we are again on another Monday and the start another work week — at least it’s clear with just a slight, chilled breeze here on California’s north coast.
Rain has disappeared for a few hours. Yesterday was gorgeous, sunshine and warm — I even opened the windows to let the fresh sea air engulf the apartment with joy.
Ha!
Joy my ass!
Winter weather in the Far East: At least a dozen people have died in snow-related incidents in seven prefectures after the storm broke records, with Tokyo blanketed in 27 centimetres of snow, according to Kyodo news agency.

The world is going pure crazy, and the worse is yet to come. Yet some people are fighting it tooth and nail.
Via Politico:
North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory joked Sunday that the harsh winter weather hitting his state is “not as tough as the first episode of ‘House of Cards,’ but it’s been tough on all of us.”
Appearing on ABC’s “This Week,” McCrory alluded to a major plot point from the second season premiere of the Netflix series but did not elaborate or give any spoilers.
…
Asked if he still believed that climate change is in God’s hands, McCrory said he believes climate change exists but he wouldn’t call it climate “warming.”
“The big debate is how much of it is man-made and how much of it will just naturally happen as earth evolves,” he said. “The question is: What do we do about it, and how much does it cost the consumer?”
Forget all that shit and work to just survive.
And it’s only Monday.
UPDATE in the PM
First time in a long time I couldn’t post in the morning. And really couldn’t finish the piece — for some unknown reason (and also to my IT guy) my laptop wouldn’t produce a cursor point (the little line flashing on/off) in written text. I could type words, but didn’t really know the next space.
As time was of the essence this morning, I quickly kind of tied up loose ends, but I’d lost my chain of thought, and the theme off a gist of an idea evaporated — does that on occasion, especially when stressed.
After all my hysteria, and whirlwind words amounting to nothing, the site wouldn’t publish.
Weird in the nerd.
