Bright and warm still in late afternoon on California north coast, working toward end of the week already — flies the time.
Looking upon lying about time — George W. Bush, State of The Union, Feb. 2005: ‘“As we fix Social Security, we also have the responsibility to make the system a better deal for younger workers. And the best way to reach that goal is through voluntary personal retirement accounts. (Applause.) Here is how the idea works…”‘
Jeb! Bush, last night, and Medicare: ‘“But that we need to figure out a way to phase out this program for others and move to a new system that allows them to have something – because they’re not going to have anything.”‘
(Illustration: Vincent van Gogh’s ‘Old Man in Sorrow (On the Threshold of Eternity),’ found here).
The brothers idiot haven’t a care-of-a-clue — George W’s initiative was dead out the door, and Jeb! is buckling a way-way-popular program just to appease the rich.
And both assholes, which should go without comment.
As a retiree, a Social Security/Medicare recipient and a human being, I want to tell shitheads like the Bush boys to go fuck themselves. In my situation, I’m pretty-much dependent right now on just those two items (Need most-likely to find some online job of sorts eventually), until the opportunity presents itself.
This political cycle so far has been a GOPed-joke, a cruel, heartless joke nevertheless, even with The Donald’s tongue: ‘“I employ thousands and thousands of Hispanics. I love the people. They’re great workers. They’re fantastic people and they want legal immigration.”‘
These guys are not only complete pandering assholes, but also capable of zero compassion, and really don’t care what they actually say — or do.
