Stuff you just hate when you get up in the morning — no cigarettes anywhere, no coffee, no clean clothes, an ex with a nasty landline-phone message, and the laptop acting like a twisted-up asshole.
This morning it was the latter.
And this stuff I just don’t understand how it happens — closed everything down last night just like ordinary, but got up this morning and complete chaos.
All my bookmarks gone, Google replaced by something called Babylon software, supposedly some Israeli public company, but I’ve never heard of it before.
Although I’ve Norton Security, it can’t be opened for some reason — I might be infected.
And it’s way-too early to rent garments, gnash teeth and start figuring computer-virus, tech-no bullshit.

In my misery, I went to this (via Time):
“I’ve been uplinked and downloaded.
I’ve been inputted and outsourced.
I know the upside of downsizing; I know the downside of upgrading.
I’m a high-tech lowlife.
A cutting-edge, state-of-the-art, bicoastal mutlitasker, and I can give you a gigabyte in a nanosecond.”
(From Carlin’s great “Ode to the Modern Man”).
Looking for a better tomorrow, tomorrow.
