Unusually-large earthquake a little while ago about 35 miles south of Ukiah — according to the USGS, a 4.2 struck just after 11, though, no detailed reports in the media as yet.
The quake was centered about a mile from The Geysers, located in the Mayacamas Mountains about 72 miles north of San Francisco.
The titled Geysers Geothermal Field is the world’s largest such thing, with 22 geothermal power plants drawing steam from more than 350 wells.
Small quakes are fairly-normal for that area, but today’s shaker is near record — the largest quake yet was a 4.5.

We did get some flash from CBS SFBayArea: ‘Visitors to the USGS from Sonoma, Lake and Napa Counties reported light shaking from the quake. There are no reports of damage or injuries.’
Just keep an eye out, or maintain a certain balance…
