Overcast-gray and chilly this early Wednesday on California’s north coast, and beyond the cloud layer, supposedly no decent rain till next week.
Despite weird weather, T-Rump yesterday okayed the Keystone XL and Dakota Access projects: ‘“We will build our own pipeline, we will build our own pipes, like we used to, in the old days.”‘
An even-more ominous move yesterday from T-Rump’s people: ‘Multiple federal agencies have told their employees to cease communications with members of Congress and the press, sources have told The Huffington Post.’

One must keep in mind, T-Rump is a persona who never smiles, has way-way-rarely been seen laughing. He’s a destroyer, a chaos-lover and wrecker of every fucking thing he can get his tiny hands on.
The gag orders were issued to the US departments of Agriculture, Interior, Health and Human Services, and of course, the Environmental Protection Agency.
A move directly opposed to these agencies work — via Mashable:
President Donald Trump has promoted a misleading and often fact-free energy policy, selected climate change deniers for cabinet positions, and has generally been an anti-science politician since he began running for president.
Scientists are well aware of this, and — while these gag orders may yet prove to be temporary — some fear that this is an opening shot in a Trump administration war on how science is conducted and communicated through the course of at least the next four years.
In further regards to the EPA — the Washington Post yesterday:
The Trump administration has instructed officials at the Environmental Protection Agency to freeze its grants and contracts, a move that could affect everything from state-led climate research to localized efforts to improve air and water quality to environmental justice projects aimed at helping poor communities.
And from Gizmodo, also yesterday:
On Tuesday, the executive branch’s apparent campaign to silence reality reached a disturbing new low when (objectively true) tweets by Badlands National Park referencing climate change were mysteriously deleted.
It’s unclear whether this was done directly at the White House’s behest, but restrictive gag orders by the Trump administration have already leaked from several federal agencies, muzzling them online.
So far, the effort to keep the federal government from speaking to the public it serves has been remarkably successful.
In fact, anxious officials could be scrolling through their social media accounts right now, searching for climate change facts that might be objectionable to our new commander-in-chief.
Before they find them, however, we think the country that paid for them deserves a look.
Included a view of Tweets from such like a survivor at Badlands National Park, one from Golden State National Park, NASA, NOAA; all reporting facts on climate change/environment — doing their jobs.
