DC Flowers — Arrogant Republican Madness

June 3, 2022

Overcast and breezy this late-afternoon Friday here in California’s Central Valley — sunshine most of the day and warm, now getting towards evening, a bit cool and comfortable outside.
Enjoying the weather before the summer hot-mess madness.

And of madness in the now day-to-day antics of the entire, whole Republican party. Not only are GOPers awash with racism, gun fetishes, and mean-ass people, they believe whole-heartedly they’re above the law — and when they get involved it’s open-spaced brain melt (h/t tweet tengrain):

Cruel-crazy Gohmert is on his last free pass — such is well-noted yesterday by Charles P. Pierce at Esquire:

Anyway, this was one of the last times we got to see an ensemble performance of the incredible passel of blowhard and ignorami with which the Republican caucus filled its seats on that important panel. Jim Jordan, Tom Tiffany, Matt Gaetz, and, in his farewell tour as a member of the House, Louie Gohmert, outgoing Padishah Emperor of the Crazy People. (A successor will be elected in January, 2023. Watch this blog for details.)
Also, there were minor characters given a chance to shine. Take, for example, Greg Steube, Republican of where-the-fck-else Florida, who appeared via Zoom and took advantage of his time literally to fondle his firearms.

And in continuing from goose-freak Gohmert’s whine he can’t ‘lie to the FBI,’ back again to Peter Navarro this afternoon after he was treated like a subject of the criminal system, after you’ve been indicted and was apparently leaving town.
Feathers ruffled by his ignorant bullshit

Not much else to add to that horseshit. The madness of all this is the madness now infecting the entire Republican party — these batshit crazy assholes are obvious, out-in-the-open assholes with a total asshole approach to legality and ethics and not-being a criminal.
He was treated as one, so there you go.

And in that madness infection from top to deep bottom:

Even red-flag mad-as-a-hatter warnings, here we are once again…
