Big news spotlight this morning is the crazy shit down in Garland, Texas, where making hateful-funny, got deadly, asshole-serious.
A public contest for best cartoon of the Prophet Mohammad got two gunman killed after they opened weapons fire outside what had been dubbed a “free speech” event.

Bullshit, and everybody concerned knows it. What mental facilities are required to create and then hold a contest, knowing and fully understanding that said-contest would be way-offensive to a shitload of people? Hate-bait brains, of course.
The deal was organized by the American Freedom Defense Initiative — considered an anti-Muslim group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks hate groups.

Event organizers knew what to expect, however. There was a load of off-duty police on hand as extra security — one of the guards was slightly wounded — and a SWAT team waiting behind the building. Garland police spokesman Joe Harn: ‘“We were prepared for something like this.”‘
