Nice weather this noon-time Thursday here in Calfornia’s Central Valley — temps in the high 70s right now with an expected high only bout 10 degrees higher, and in being relative, is near-about chilly.
In our political environment this morning, it’s just about all T-Rump — he’s scheduled to be in a DC courtroom this afternoon for an appearance off criminal charges he’d tried to subvert the 2020 election. He’s departed New Jersey, and is apparently on his way.
Media watch en-route and the horror:

Nutshell via The Washington Post:
Former president Donald Trump is scheduled to appear in Washington at 4 p.m. Eastern on Thursday for his arraignment on charges that he conspired to overturn the results of the 2020 election. Trump, who is traveling from his golf club in Bedminster, N.J., is expected to plead not guilty in a federal courthouse that is just blocks away from where his angry supporters stormed the Capitol building to keep him in power on Jan. 6, 2021. A grand jury indicted Trump on four felony counts, including conspiracy to defraud the nation, brought by special counsel Jack Smith.
Further per CNBC:
The E. Barrett Prettyman courthouse, where the arraignment will take place, is just a few blocks from the U.S. Capitol where, on Jan. 6, 2021, a violent mob of the then-president’s supporters broke through police barricades and forced members of Congress to flee for their safety.
The mob, made up of people who believed Trump’s lies that the 2020 election was rigged through widespread election fraud, temporarily blocked Congress from confirming President Joe Biden’s victory over Trump.
As the chaos played out, Trump and his co-conspirators “exploited the disruption” by pushing lawmakers to delay the certification, the indictment alleges
Meanwhile at T-Rump’s ultimate destination outside the courtroom:
Slight uptick in protest activity. Group of “Blacks for Trump,” a guy chanting “no foreskin no peace,” a few people with flags, a guy in Proud Boys colors and, oddly, ex-Roger Stone friend Randy Credico, who is here hawking pro-Assange literature. pic.twitter.com/VRzl2FtoXe

Despite the criminal shit being obvious and upfront — via the Guardian’s live blog a short time ago:
Nearly 70% of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents believe that President Joe Biden’s 2020 election win was not legitimate, according to new polling by CNN.
The poll, conducted ahead of Trump’s latest indictment, found that the number of Republicans and Republican-leaners who say Biden’s election win was not legitimate has increased from earlier this year.
Overall, 61% of Americans said Biden legitimately won the 2020 presidential election, and 38% believe he did not, according to the poll.
There is no evidence of fraud that would have changed the outcome of the election.
Although the media is in another OJ Simpson moment (as was during the T-Rump’s first arraignment in June), Joe Biden has no fucks left:
