Joe The Job

July 12, 2024

Hot, bright, and uncomfortable again just past the noon hour Friday here in California’s Central Valley — abnormal just a few years ago is now the daily normal.

And in abnormal/normal regard to the whiplash bullshit washing across Joe Biden’s presidential re-election run against the asshole, horror of the T-Rump, the whole system seems fucked. Although Biden had some gaffes, some ‘anyway,’ moments in his presser yesterday afternoon, he came across as a guy still in charge of minute details of not only economic numbers but also details in foreign affairs, a performance way-way beyond the Orange Turd’s ability-appearance zone — T-Rump wouldn’t come even close to handling the press without crying foul or calling a reporter a “nasty person” for such-and-such a question.
Despite all the contrary leanings toward Biden having his ‘old‘ shit together (old age is not an absolute negative), the call for him to step aside still persists — bullshit in the light is still bullshit.

The reality, in fact, sometimes maybe comes from a convoluted, weird place — Chris Matthews, of all people, seemingly nailed it: ‘“Right now, he’s got the poor people, he’s got minorities, he’s got Hispanics, he’s going to put out labor, he’s going to hold that base of the Democratic Party, which he will need in November … And I’m telling you, people are going to end up rooting for him in October, because he will have a comeback … And then this elite-fashioned attack on him, they’re going to pay for it.”

So it goes even in ‘elite,’ supposedly knowing/experienced David Axelrod:

And what about the Orange Turd?

Joe, run like shit, or not, yet once again here we are…
