Here we are on Friday, the day after yesterday. Although there’s great news out of Gaza, in America, the Republican brand remains not-screwed-on-tight with letting go of the crazy. Not only from the T-Rump — shit starts at the head — but from the whole, mentally-unbalanced MAGA lot has the influence.
Turkey day was also GOP crazy day — Seth Meyers explained last night: ‘“Weird uncles are fine, but there is a delicate balance when one enters an ecosystem. A solitary weird uncle, that’s manageable, but too many weird uncles and chaos is upon you … And that’s what’s happening to American politics, which in recent years has become dominated by weird uncles, guys like Mike Lindell or Steve Bannon or Rudy Giuliani … Everyone’s taking stock of where we’re at. Thanks to the GOP, our national politics has basically been turned into a nonstop Thanksgiving dinner made up entirely of weird uncles.”‘
Now the contest is between sane and insane, people who care and the people who violently don’t give a shit:

In a sense of the crazy spawned by the violence boiled by the T-Rump, especially within the confines of his courtroom clashes. Horrible, cruel crazy begets horrible, cruel, crazy — from the Daily Beast last night:
The judge’s law clerk, attorney Allison Greenfield, has gotten the worst of it after Trump spread vicious lies about her—“resulting in daily doxing” that led to dozens of daily calls, voicemails, and messages from Trump loyalists.
On Thanksgiving, federal prosecutors packaged up the evidence with a singular message in mind: If you remove Trump’s muzzle, he will turn up the heat.
The lesson in New York is stark. The MAGA flock gobbles up anything Trump says and follows his lead. New York court cops assert that the flood of hate spiked when Trump personally attacked the state judge and his right hand legal adviser, diminished when the judge ordered Trump to shut up, then spiked again when Trump violated that gag order.
New York court documents, now filed in federal court too, show the kinds of recorded voicemails that have been left by Trumpists calling the New York judge’s chambers.
“I mean, honestly, you should be assassinated. You should be killed,” said one.
“Trust me. Trust me when I say this. I will come for you. I don’t care. Ain’t nobody gonna stop me either,” said another.
One caller swore to “hunt down… you and your family,” warning that “for every action there’s a reaction.”
Another called Justice Engoron a “treasonous piece of trash snake,” and threatened that “we are coming to remove you permanently.”
During a court hearing on Monday, federal appellate judges seemed reticent to keep caging the Republican presidential candidate ahead of his upcoming trial before U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan, but the new batch of evidence is meant to convince them otherwise. A similar fight is underway in Manhattan, where the New York Attorney General is fighting to have an appellate court reinstate four gag orders on Trump that were recently in place until a lone appellate judge roasted them.
Crazy talk has consequences — a shitload of directions come the threats, and as illustrated, will only get worse if the T-Rump isn’t muzzled, gagged or just told to shut the fuck up!
However, today T-Rump’s lawyers begged to differ — all that menacing shit is just not pertinent:
But on Friday, the former president’s attorneys dismissed those threats as “irrelevant”.
The filing in defence of Mr Trump follows a growing number of warnings from judges, prosecutors and officials tracking the increasingly volatile rhetoric coming from the leading candidate for the Republican nomination for president in 2024.
Mr Trump’s attorneys appear unconvinced. They called the latest filing from US Department of Justice special counsel Jack Smith “an impermissible attempt to supplement the record on appeal with irrelevant information that could have been, but was not, submitted to the district court below.”
“To date, the prosecution has never submitted any evidence of alleged ‘threats’ or ‘harassment’ to any prosecutor, court staffer, or potential witness in this case,” according to the letter from Mr Trump’s attorneys.
“This falls short of the ‘solidity of evidence’ required to justify a prior restraint,” they argue.
A gag order in Mr Trump’s civil fraud trial in New York prohibited all parties in the case from making disparaging remarks towards the judge’s staff, including his principal law clerk. A state appeals court judge paused the order earlier this month.
And in that ‘paused‘ effect, the T-Rump opened the vile, dangerous crazy.

Crazy MAGA, or not, yet here we are once again….
(Illustration out front is of a New York state high-school student exhibit: ‘The piece was displayed during student-driven art show at Shenendehowa High School. It consisted of at least 12 identical black-and-white pictures of Donald Trump. There was also a sign above the pictures that read, “Draw on Me.” Using markers from the art classroom, Isome students opted to scribble critical messages and profanities on the pictures‘ — and found here.)
