‘Mind-Boggling’ Springtime

March 20, 2017

Drizzling rain followed by more drizzling rain this  early-evening Monday  on California’s north coast — even more rain coupled with possible thunderstorms are slated for tonight and tomorrow as this rainy season just won’t end.
Even in springtime.
This morning was Spring Equinox, and supposedly the days will start getting longer starting now — I’m not too concerned about light, it’s the rain that makes for mental instability..

A long, wet winter of discontent…

Deeply influenced by the T-Rump, who’s turned a heavy rainy season into a terrible parable off the way-far side of ‘The Twilight Zone’ — a period of gloom and an unrelenting downpour as we await the next shit-storm.
And fitting first-day-spring event was FBI Director James Comey’s appearance before the House Intelligence Committee, finally going public about shit everybody already knew, but were waiting for the chickenshit whoever-authorities to make a move — Comey was still tight-ass lipped during the questioning, giving short, non-wordy answers.
The shithead did report the FBI is indeed investigating links between Trump’s presidential campaign and the Russian government. and those now-infamous T-Rump blather about Obama wiretapping Trump Tower, was all bullshit. Comey said: ‘“I have no information that supports those tweets and we have looked carefully inside the FBI.”
No shit.

Most-crackerjack, ugly-ironic note from the idiocy (The Hill): ‘Near the end of the day’s proceedings, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) told Comey he had put “a big gray cloud” over the White House.’
The cloud has been there since the very beginning, dip-shit…

We’re in uncharted national waters. There’s never been a lying piece of garbage in the White House — assholes from the past had some redeeming qualities, although sometimes way-minuscule, but the T-Rump has none. No redeeming qualities at all — think about that a second.
And a historical weird place (the Washington Post this evening): ‘“There’s a smell of treason in the air,” presidential historian Douglas Brinkley said. “Imagine if J. Edgar Hoover or any other FBI director would have testified against a sitting president? It would have been a mind-boggling event.”

Oddly frightening is image of a rope tightening around the neck of the T-Rump — crazed, mean-spirited people react sometimes horribly under stress. Or when they know the game’s over…
And becoming more obvious. Americans are getting whiff of the stink (CNN): ‘President Donald Trump’s job approval rating has dropped to 37-percent, while 58-percent of Americans disapprove of his performance so far as president, new Gallup figures show.’

Coincidentally, another Gallup last week reported Americans are also becoming more alarmed about the environment — a subject the T-Rump disdains — with 45-percent of respondents ‘worrying a great deal‘ about climate change, a 8-point jump over last year. And 62-percent saying the effects of global warming are right now happening, a new high.

Rain, rain go away…
