‘Worse than just being a liar or a narcissist…’

April 21, 2017

Bright-sunshine and warm temperatures this Friday afternoon on California’s north coast. Today for my area, one of those ‘good-as-it-gets‘ — weather-wise.

Fright-wise, is the T-Rump truly a psychotic, psychopathic asshole, an unsafe nutball?
A professional answers the question:

“I’ve worked with some of the most dangerous people our society produces, directing mental health programs in prisons. I’ve worked with murderers and rapists. I can recognize dangerousness from a mile away,” said James Gilligan, a psychiatrist and professor at New York University.
“You don’t have to be an expert on dangerousness or spend fifty years studying it like I have in order to know how dangerous this man is.”

Gilligan was part of a conference of mental health professionals held today at Yale’s School of Medicine — the town hall style meeting was pointedly direct in its intent:
From WTNH-News8:

Dr. John Gartner, who spoke at the event, started an online petition encouraging other mental health professionals to speak up and declare they believe Preisdent Trump is mentally ill.
So far, the petition has more than 40-thousand signatures.
“We do believe that Donald Trump’s mental illness is putting the entire country, and indeed the entire world, in danger,” said Dr. Gartner.
“As health professionals we have an ethical duty to warn the public about that danger.”
”’
One of the arguments against the health professionals’ movement is that these individuals have not sat down with Trump one on one.
“This notion that you need to personally interview someone to form a diagnosis actually doesn’t make a whole lotta sense. For one thing, research shows that the psychiatric interview is the least statistical reliable way to make a diagnosis,” said Dr. Gartner.
Gartner says Trump’s statement about having the largest crowd at an inauguration was just one of many that served as warnings to what they see as a bigger problem.
“Worse than just being a liar or a narcissist, in addition he is paranoid, delusional and grandiose thinking and he proved that to the country the first day he was President,” said Dr. Gartner.

Further (per Raw Story):

Typically, psychology professionals refrain from diagnosing public figures whom they haven’t personally interviewed, but Dr. Bandy Lee, an assistant clinical professor at the Yale School of Medicine, told the conference that the dangers Trump’s mental health present are simply too great to stay silent.
“As some prominent psychiatrists have noted, [Trump’s mental health] is the elephant in the room,” Lee explained.
“I think the public is really starting to catch on and widely talk about this now.”

If these guys are even half-right, or even quarter-right, about the mental disposition of the T-Rump, the US is fairly-fucked in any type crisis-situation.
Indicative of the horror off a portion of his babbling-remarks late last month to the Women’s Empowerment panel

And we’ve had leaders like Susan B. Anthony — have you heard of Susan B. Anthony? — (laughter) — I’m shocked that you’ve heard of her — who dreamed of a much more equal and fair future, an America where women themselves, as she said, “helped to make laws and elect the lawmakers.”
And that’s what’s happening more and more. Tough competition out there, I want to tell you.

Leader of the so-called free world, POTUS, supposedly the most-powerful guy on the planet — creepy crazy as a loon…
