Sunshine and breezy this Wednesday evening on California’s north coast — earlier, dog-walking at Little River Beach was also warm, too…
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi this morning opened a mystery paradox, via Fortune:
“Every single day, whether it’s obstruction, obstruction — obstruction of having people come to the table with facts, ignoring subpoenas,” Pelosi said during the Washington Post Live event, “every single day, the president is making a case — he’s becoming self-impeachable, in terms of some of the things that he is doing.”
Nowhere did I find an explanation for ‘self-impeachable‘ from any news site, although HotAir offered an obvious, ‘“self-evidently impeachable,”‘ which maybe nails it.
Yesterday, Pelosi appeared to lay precedent for ‘self impeachable,’ saying the T-Rump in his actions ‘”…is goading us to impeach him…That’s what he’s doing. Every single day, he’s just like taunting, taunting, taunting because he knows that it would be very divisive in the country, but he doesn’t really care. He just wants to solidify his base.”‘
During that same interview, she popped AG Bllly Barr (Axios): ‘The big picture: Pelosi specifically cited Barr’s refusal to comply with a House Judiciary subpoena for the unredacted version of the report as the basis for these contempt proceedings, saying it was separate from other issues — like his refusal to testify before the committee last week as well as allegations that he lied during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, which Pelosi later called a crime.’
In keeping with continuous-disturbing events, as illustration above, Pablo Picasso’s ‘Les Deux Saltimbanques: l’Arlequin et Sa Compagne’ (found here), provides an opposite with ‘…the intimacy of the moment…‘ and room to spare — so much the girls appear a near-surreal closeness.
