Scream Scene

Screaming into madness seems currently spot on — via the Guardian in January 2019:

The Scream was created by the Norwegian artist Edvard Munch in 1893 but it has become a masterpiece – the masterpiece – for our time. There are comparably “iconic” works of art – the Mona Lisa, Van Gogh’s Sunflowers – but they exist in a world of art and beauty. The Scream is ugly and brutal and belongs in the here and now. It is a symbol we reach for as we might for a strong word, to express what we’re feeling this minute.

In an actual The Scream scene just this morning:

This whole thing is a little on the nose

Or another The Scream moment:

I don’t think Junior would try to profit off the presidency after spending so many years attacking Hunter Biden. I’m sure he’s aware that wouldn’t be ethical and would not engage in conduct that suggested even a hint of impropriety because he’s a Christian man.

The screaming against the horror story playing out right now — the T-Rump and his stock are some of the worst pieces of shit ever produced by the human race.  Corruption runs rampant in plain sight. Infecting just about every facet of American life influenced worldwide. The asshole and his minions have caused so much destruction that it’s hard to keep a sense of it all. Immoral, greedy assholes.
How many people have suffered becaue that Orange Turd of a man existed.

Miss Emily Dickson ponders ‘I Like A Look Of Agony

REAL.

I like a look of agony,
Because I know it ‘s true;
Men do not sham convulsion,
Nor simulate a throe.

The eyes glaze once, and that is death.
Impossible to feign
The beads upon the forehead
By homely anguish strung.

Surreal scream, Enigma style:

Scream, or not, yet once again here we are …
