High overcast again this early Thursday on California’s north coast and real still and quiet, too. We’re now at the vantage point where the weekend can be seen with the naked eye.
And speaking of naked, ain’t George Jr. such a dish in the shower?
New York magazine ‘overanalyzing‘ the boy’s self portrait: His disembodied face appears in the shaving mirror, looking back at Bush through an impossible angle, like a haunting apparition. You can’t hide from yourself, the face is saying. You can’t hide from God.
But one can work hard to hide ugly shit from the rest of us.
Now the US White House is blocking the release of bullshit talk between George Jr. and the UK’s Tony Blair about the run-up to the Iraqi war — part-and-parcel to a four-years-long inquiry by Brit officials into the nefarious origins of the debacle.

Just a gentle reminder of the legacy in the horror-hole George Jr. and Tony created (via CNN):
At least 27 people were killed and 58 others wounded in Iraq Thursday when a suicide bomber wearing an explosive vest blew himself up among Shiite pilgrims, police said.
The bomber was wearing a police uniform, police said. The incident occurred in al-Saadiya, about 75 miles (120 kilometers) northeast of Baghdad.
The suicide bombing followed a pair of blasts in eastern Iraq that killed nine and injured 25, health officials said.
And that’s just this morning!
Overall, the Iraq war is an unbelievable nightmare as a report last month revealed more than half-a-million Iraqis died because of the conflict: “We think it is roughly around half a million people dead. And that is likely a low estimate,” says Hagopian. “People need to know the cost in human lives of the decision to go to war.”
Hence, we all need to know the reality of this bullshit — but alas, probably not.
The so-called Iraq Inquiry is a committee instigated by former PM Gordon Brown in 2009 to investigate what the fuck went wrong in allowing Britain to be sucked into George Jr. and his warhorse, The Dick’s, big plans for re-arranging the Middle East. Now as the group gets ready for a final report, some crucial evidence is being withheld.
Via the UK’s Independent:
Although the Cabinet Office has been under fire for stalling the progress of the four-year Iraq Inquiry by Sir John Chilcot, senior diplomatic sources in the US and Whitehall indicated that it is officials in the White House and the US Department of State who have refused to sanction any declassification of critical pre- and post-war communications between George W Bush and Tony Blair.
Without permission from the US government, David Cameron faces the politically embarrassing situation of having to block evidence, on Washington’s orders, from being included in the report of an expensive and lengthy British inquiry.
…
The protected documents relating to the Bush-Blair exchanges are said to provide crucial evidence for already-written passages that are highly critical of the covert way in which Mr Blair committed British troops to the US-led invasion.
One high-placed diplomatic source said:
“The US are highly possessive when documents relate to the presence of the President or anyone close to him. Tony Blair is involved in a dialogue in many of these documents, and naturally someone else is at the other end – the President. Therefore this is not Tony Blair’s or the UK Government’s property to disclose.”
The source was adamant that “Chilcot, or anyone in London, does not decide what documents relating to a US President are published.”
…
The authors are facing difficult choices forced on them by Washington and the Cabinet Office’s desire not to upset the so-called “special relationship” between Britain and the US.
They may deliver a neutered report in spring next year which would effectively absolve Mr Blair of any serious policy failures – because there would be no clear evidence contained in the report to back up such direct criticism.
Another possibility is that the report will be so heavily redacted as to be rendered meaningless and hence a waste of almost £8m of British taxpayers’ money.
And here we stand — since President Obama clearly stated four years ago there’s no use looking back, but always looking forward, George Jr. and all his lackeys will dance scott-free of a huge, humongous crime against humanity.
A shower jig would be obscene, however.
