Monday Dark Thirty

CrazyMondayGround fog and darkness this early, way-too-soon Monday — and this morning, along with the night, no electrical power.
Although it’s been a long while since there’d been any kind of power outage around here, it’s still not any fun waking up to a deep–dark. The clock radio was silent and with no little light flashing.

As I was sitting on the toilet — there was light. The shitty thing was a brand-new big flashlight I’d used just briefly once or twice, didn’t work. Click-fuckin’-click and still darkness.
This is it for the post this morning — at least there was time for a few words. Just three weeks now until “retirement,” or whatever the shit that means nowadays.

In the dark — no better way to start a Monday!
