All Relative — Election Day

November 8, 2016

3-img_1871Bright sunshine this early Tuesday on California’s north coast — a great ambience-setter for Election Day 2016.
And supposedly warm, too — yesterday was the hottest Nov. 7 on record in Eureka, topping 72-degrees, knocking down a nearly-20-year standing mark (Lost Coast Outpost).
Even national weather will ‘keep the mood positive‘ at polling spots across America, as this horrible nightmare comes to a sunshine-filled end.

And worldwide: “People just don’t expect this sort of behavior in the United States…They expect this kind of thing in Zimbabwe. Equatorial Guinea. Burma. Not the USA.”

Of course, the subject was T-Rump without mentioning the name. People lump the entire election into the same slop-hole when in reality the root-cause of the horror, nightmarish election season is T-Rump.
And like the world, a wonder how the fuck could such an immoral, despicable asshole get us to this point where we find ourselves today.

Stevie Wonder cooled the scene in the best analogy yet — via Vibe this morning:

“My youngest child is 1 year old. She is a junior Millennial. So I’m looking at the future. And I’ll give you a point of reference.
“As much as you have great love for me and you think I’m funny and la la la la la and I make you laugh and all that, if you had an emergency situation and needed to go to the hospital, and you had to get there right away, would you want me driving your car?”
“No, you wouldn’t be at the top of my list,” De Luca responded.
While the joke may have placed De Luca (and anyone with home training) on the spot, Wonder–no pun intended–drove home his point home about not being able to get behind the wheel and Trump not being fit to be the Commander In Chief.
“Exactly. Because I’m not an experienced driver, right?
“So my belief is that Hillary is an experienced person of the government, and she has spent 30 years with a commitment. Not to mention that her parents taught her in a kinder way, to have respect and love for all people. That’s the person I want to govern, to be the leader of this nation.”

Right- on. The big hope is that a vast, vast majority of voters have enough decency and intelligence to send T-Rump back to his gold-plated shitter.
The day continues…
